The 147 Magic bus route runs between West Didsbury and Manchester Piccadilly Railway station via Oxford Road and the Uni’s. There is a special fare arrangement for the students. This can be a very busy service in term time. Out of term time, the service is very quiet and is rather easy to do other than those that are unable to read and get on the bus thinking it goes to Piccadilly Gardens and they have a little panic attack when you turn off Oxford Road early and head down the back streets for the Station.
